Support Friends of the Friarage while you shop

The Friarage hospital shop is staffed and managed by Friends of the Friarage and our team of volunteers. We sell a wide range of sandwiches, pies, snacks and drinks plus magazines, newspapers, toiletries, gifts and greetings cards. Our usual opening hours are:

Monday - Wednesday: 9.30am - 5pm
Thursday - Friday: 9.30pm - 7pm
Saturday - Sunday: 10am - 4pm

Support us while you shop

All profits go to the Friarage, meaning every snack or sandwich you buy helps us invest in and enhance more of the services at your hospital.

Eco Shop

In partnership with the trust's Waste & Sustainability team we help tackle food waste and offer staff the chance to grab a bargain! Every Monday at 11am in the area next to the shop

Volunteer in our shop

The Friarage hospital shop is staffed by a team of dedicated volunteers who commit to regular shifts. Maybe you have just retired and are not yet ready to put your feet up entirely, maybe you want to give something back to the hospital, or are you a young person looking to gain work experience or points towards your Duke of Edinburgh award. Whatever your age or experience we want to hear from you!

Where to find us

From the main entrance carry on down the corridor past the lifts. You'll find us on the left-hand side, opposite the hospital garden.
