Broomfield School raises £548.00 in Bake Sale!

Broomfield School in Northallerton recently held an Easter raffle and bake sale to support our Eye Appeal and raised an amazing £548.00 for us! We were presented with a cheque by members of the school council along with Deputy Headteacher Dave Simpson, Teaching Assistant Stephanie Beckwith and retired teacher Audrey Smith who recently left Broomfield after 40 years! Dave told us:

“As a Rights Respecting School, we are dedicated to promoting children’s rights, such as the right to the best healthcare possible. We are always looking for ways to support our local community too, and we were very pleased to raise money for Friends of the Friarage’s Eye Appeal.”
