Northallerton Soroptomists donate £610.00 to our Eye Appeal

The cheque was presented at the group's farewell lunch in March

In March, the Northallerton Soroptomists presented Friends of the Friarage with a cheque for £610.00 towards our Eye Appeal. Former Co-President of the Northallerton branch, Donna Jermyn told us at the group's farewell lunch, 

"Over the last 10 years Northallerton Soroptomists have raised funds to support local projects, including those at the Friarage Hospital. Unfortunately, due to dwindling member numbers, the group has taken the difficult decision to disband. This coincided with the launch of the Friends of the Friarage eye campaign and we were delighted to donate our remaining funds to this fantastic project."
