Rotary Magical Burns Night supper raises £3,100!

The Rotary Club of Northallerton held a sold-out Magical Burns Night supper to raise funds for our Eye Appeal at the Golden Lion Hotel, Northallerton on January 25th.

The evening included entertainment from bagpiper, Cameron Weatherburn and the Middlesbrough Circle of Magicians. Lyn Proud, the organiser of the Rotary Club and trustee of Friends of the Friarage, said; 

"We are delighted to have raised £3,100 from this event, and are very grateful to all guests and sponsors for their generosity. Provision of enhanced eye treatment facilities at the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton will make a huge difference to patients in our local area."
